Lime soil treatment is a chemical process in which lime (quicklime, hydrated or slurry) mixed with the place subgrade and reaction takes place. The reacts clay particles to create cementitious matrix. design of landfill base liners including layer as fluid barrier (i.e. water-resistant impervious layer) requires neat engineering approach considering, particular, consolidation behavior well hydraulic properties contained. For sake safe stable such baseliners under landfills, reduction settlement when subjected accumulated waste load superposed action) during operation accomplishment for ensuring waterproof those composite (comprised multiple different layers) not allow penetration contaminated water - produced result exothermic reactions occurring body landfills – by enabling enhanced isolation from natural ground importance.
